About
l
Guitarist and composer Randy Spaulding performs instrumental and vocal music. He graduated from The Boston Conservatory in 1977, and has been teaching guitar since 1971 both privately and for music schools in the area. He is an active member in the Connecticut Guitar Society, and participates in their CGS guitar ensemble. He also performs locally with the Grove Street Trio, a classical guitar ensemble that plays Baroque and Renissance, Spanish, Latin American and popular music in the classical tradition.
Randy’s musical abilities extend to piano and organ, and he has been a church musician for the past twenty years at various churches.
When singing and playing current music, Randy uses an eclectic guitar style–classical, flamenco, folk and rock. He plays a Yamaha classical, a Gibson solid body classical, and a Lag steel string acoustic guitar.
